Join our team and play a key role in supporting our welding and fabrication operations!
We’re looking for a Stores Person to manage the receipt, storage, control, and issue of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods. This position is vital for maintaining accurate stock data, ensuring materials traceability, and upholding safety and quality standards across our site.
What You’ll Do
• Order gas, fuel, and materials for all scopes of work.
• Assist with purchasing and pricing of materials.
• Receive goods into stock, complete documentation, and verify against purchase orders and certifications.
• Accurately update inventory in the company system.
• Prepare and dispatch completed works with correct packaging and documentation.
• Liaise with customers and vendors regarding deliveries and collections.
• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists for material handling.
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a manufacturing stores or warehouse role (welding/fabrication environment preferred).
• Strong inventory control skills and confidence using ERP systems.
• Competent with handheld scanners and measuring devices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit for manual handling (up to 25KG) and forklift operation.
