Job opportunity
As we continue to grow our welding and fabrication operations, we’re looking for a Workshop Foreman to join our team in a key, hands-on role based entirely on the shop floor.
This position is all about keeping jobs moving, maintaining high quality, and supporting our team leads across 12 individual workshop teams. You’ll work closely with our Operations Planner to ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly and projects are delivered on time and to spec. You'll also coordinate with our QA/QC team to help maintain our high standards of quality throughout production.
This role suits someone with solid workshop experience who enjoys working with others, staying organised, and being at the heart of the action on the shop floor — not behind a desk.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supporting daily activity across our fabrication and welding teams
• Working closely with team leads to help keep their projects on track
• Ensuring work instructions are being followed correctly across all teams
• Reporting progress, updates, and any issues directly to the Operations Planner
• Liaising with QA/QC to assist with quality checks and inspections
• Ensuring work is carried out according to standards and timelines
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment

• Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings
